Configure MorrBot Discord Notifications

Connect Discord, select a destination, test permissions, and enable only the notifications your community needs.

Connect Discord

  1. Open Discord in the MorrBot dashboard.
  2. Authorize the Discord account with access to the intended server.
  3. Select a text channel where MorrBot can view and send messages.
  4. Enable one notification workflow, such as your own live alert or Clip-to-Discord.
  5. Run the available test and verify the outward Discord message.

Use separate channels when live alerts and clips have different audiences or frequencies. Check for an existing webhook or bot before enabling a duplicate notification.

If the test fails, confirm the selected channel still exists and MorrBot’s server role can view it, send messages, and embed links where required. Reconnect Discord after account or server permission changes.

Free channels can configure supported own-channel notification behavior; Pro and Elite expand Discord workflows and watched-streamer limits. The dashboard shows tier-aware controls in context.
