Troubleshoot MorrBot When It Is Not Responding
Check stream state, authorization, command settings, cooldowns, overlays, and the public status report in the right order.
Check in this order
- Confirm the broadcaster is live when testing a workflow that requires live state.
- Confirm MorrBot’s Twitch authorization is current by opening
/twitch. - Check the exact feature is saved and enabled.
- Check command spelling, permissions, cooldowns, and source-only delivery.
- For media, confirm the overlay source is visible in the active scene.
- For Discord, confirm the destination and server permissions.
- Check the public MorrBot status report.
Background webhook, watchtime, or connection activity does not prove that a configured feature can produce an outward result. Test the shortest complete path for one feature.
Avoid changing several settings at once. Restore the last known-good configuration, run one test, and then add changes individually. If the public status is healthy and the same failure persists, contact support@morrbot.com or use the MorrBot Discord with the feature name, approximate time, and what you expected to happen. Do not post session cookies, personal overlay URLs, or secrets.
