Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how MorrBot ("MorrBot", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit morrbot.com, connect a Twitch account, configure bot features, or purchase a paid subscription.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide or authorize, including Twitch account identifiers, display names, channel configuration, commands, redeems, uploaded sound or image assets, overlay settings, dashboard preferences, and support messages.
We may also collect service data such as authentication session details, bot activity logs, feature usage, IP address, browser information, error reports, and security events.
2. Twitch, Chat, and Stream Data
MorrBot processes Twitch-related data needed to provide bot features, such as chat commands, user activity, channel point redeems, follows, subscriptions, raids, stream status, and moderation or engagement settings you enable. This data is used to operate the bot, show dashboard state, and support streamer tools.
3. Billing Data
New paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Legacy Fourthwall subscriptions remain managed through Fourthwall until migrated or canceled. Stripe and Fourthwall handle payment details, invoices, taxes, refunds, and provider-specific billing support. MorrBot does not store full payment card numbers.
We may receive limited billing-related information from Stripe or Fourthwall, such as customer identifiers, subscription status, tier, renewal dates, transaction events, and buyer email when needed to activate paid features, provide support, prevent fraud, and keep account records.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide, secure, maintain, and improve MorrBot features.
- Authenticate users and connect streamer dashboards to Twitch channels.
- Operate subscriptions, paid-tier access, support, and billing coordination.
- Detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, preserve service reliability, and comply with legal obligations.
- Communicate about service updates, support requests, security issues, and account activity.
5. Analytics, Advertising Attribution, and Consent
Where applicable consent is provided, MorrBot uses Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand acquisition and product lifecycle performance. Cookiebot manages regional consent choices, preference withdrawal, and blocking of non-essential analytics and advertising storage. Google Consent Mode communicates granted or denied categories to configured Google tags.
Campaign attribution data may include UTM parameters, Google click identifier (gclid), landing page, and referrer. Standalone attribution records are retained for up to 30 days. When you connect Twitch, attribution may also be copied into your growth profile and retained under the profile retention period described below. Marketing attribution is kept separate from billing referral attribution and cannot change who owns a referral credit.
With analytics consent, MorrBot sends the GA4 browser client identifier and an HMAC-derived pseudonymous user identifier with approved server-side lifecycle events such as OAuth completion, channel activation, and subscription start. This connects those events to the browser's analytics activity for attribution. The browser client identifier is read only after statistics consent; events without it are not sent to GA4. We do not send Twitch names, email addresses, chat text, command content, or uploaded media names in those analytics payloads.
6. Growth Measurement Records
MorrBot stores lifecycle events under numeric Twitch user IDs to measure authorization, onboarding, configured features, successful tests, live activation, meaningful daily use, subscriptions, and referral prompts. Meaningful use requires an outward command, alert, redeem, media, Discord, or automation result; background connection, webhook, or watchtime activity does not count.
Identifiable raw growth events are retained for up to 403 days after storage. Anonymous daily aggregates may be retained for up to 775 days after their last update.
Growth profiles, including copied attribution, may be retained while your account remains active and for up to 403 days after your latest recorded growth activity. Each recorded activity refreshes that period, so profile information can remain for longer than 403 days on an active account.
Account deletion removes local user-level growth records and queued analytics payloads while preserving anonymous aggregate counts that can no longer be associated with the account. Local deletion does not recall requests already sent to Google or erase information already held by Google.
7. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate MorrBot, including hosting, storage, payment processing, support, analytics, security, and integrated services you choose to connect. We may also disclose information where required by law, to enforce terms, or to protect MorrBot, users, Twitch communities, or the public.
8. Data Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide MorrBot, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Some logs and backups may persist for a limited period after deletion from active systems.
9. Your Choices
You can change or withdraw non-essential cookie preferences at any time through Cookie settings or the Cookie Policy. You can also disconnect integrations, change dashboard settings, cancel subscriptions, or stop using MorrBot. You may request access, correction, deletion, or export of personal information by contacting support. Some requests may be limited where retention is required for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so you should keep your Twitch account secure and promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
11. International Use
MorrBot may process information in the United States or other locations where service providers operate. By using MorrBot, you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
12. Children's Privacy
MorrBot is not intended for children under 13 and should only be used by people old enough to manage a Twitch account and agree to these policies under applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when MorrBot changes or when legal, platform, or provider requirements change. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date.
