Connect Twitch and Understand MorrBot Permissions

Authorize MorrBot, understand the requested Twitch permissions, and recover an expired connection.

Connect Twitch

  1. Select Start Free or open /twitch.
  2. Sign in to the Twitch account that owns the channel you want MorrBot to manage.
  3. Review Twitch’s authorization screen and approve the requested permissions.
  4. MorrBot creates a dashboard session and sends a new user to Home. Returning users keep their Commands landing page and can open Home from navigation.

MorrBot requests permissions for the features it can operate, including chat, channel-point rewards, ads, moderation helpers, polls, predictions, subscriptions, goals, and other supported channel events. A permission does not turn a feature on by itself; dashboard configuration still controls behavior.

If authorization expires

Open /twitch again and approve the current permissions. MorrBot updates the durable Twitch user-ID record even if the account display name changed. If the loop repeats, clear MorrBot cookies, close old authorization tabs, and retry once.
