Create and Test Your First MorrBot Command

Save a simple command, run the guided check, and verify the response in Twitch chat.

Create a command

  1. Open Commands from the MorrBot dashboard.
  2. Enter a trigger without spaces, such as socials or schedule.
  3. Enter the response viewers should see.
  4. Keep the default cooldown for the first test.
  5. Save the command.

Return to Home and choose Chat commands if it is not already selected. The checklist reads the saved command configuration from the server. Select Verify my setup only after the configuration step is complete.

Test in chat

Go live or use your normal controlled stream test. Send the command with its ! prefix. Confirm that MorrBot produces the expected outward chat response. A saved command or background bot connection does not count as activation; the visible result while the broadcaster is live does.

If the response does not appear, check spelling, cooldown, streamer/mod/VIP restrictions, source-only delivery, and the Twitch authorization before recreating the command.
